The concept.

BlueMotionTechnologies is the umbrella brand for all products and technologies that make our vehicles more efficient today. It stands for the interaction of a number of innovations, for example recuperation, the start-stop system and NOx exhaust treatment. They all work together to make a Volkswagen more economical and to reduce emissions.

Our customers can recognise our most efficient models by our concept brands BlueMotion, BlueTDI and TSI EcoFuel or by the name BlueMotionTechnology. And all these innovations represent further development of our basic technologies, because TDI, TSI and DSG are what made BlueMotionTechnologies possible in the first place.
